My name is Jennifer Squires.  This is my second year at Mary B Austin, and I am so excited to continue this adventure with a new group of fifth graders.  This is my 17th year of teaching, all of which have been in Mobile County.  Previously I have taught at JE Turner and O'Rourke Elementary.  

I have lived in Mobile my entire life.  I am a Mary G Montgomery and University of South Alabama graduate.  I am Aunt JenJen to two beautiful nieces, Caroline Jane and Livi Jade.    You will hear me talk about them all the time!  I am an avid reader, and the biggest Alabama football fan.  Don't be offended if I great you with a big Roll Tide!! 

I am very excited to introduce my love of Reading and Writing to your student.  This year is going to be awesome. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you need anything throughout this year.
